The Business
A global component manufacturer operating in the industrial, automotive, HVAC, medical, and electronics sectors. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to accelerate growth through pure new-business acquisition across the UK.
The Role
- Acquisition: Proactively identifying, targeting, and securing new B2B customers across the UK territory.
- Full Sales Cycle: Managing the process from initial contact and product presentations through to final negotiation and close.
- Technical Pitching: Promoting standard heating, cooling, and control product ranges directly to engineering, procurement, and project teams.
- Pipeline & Networking: Building a robust new business pipeline and representing the company at industry trade shows and exhibitions.
The Profile
- An experienced salesperson with a proven track record of winning new customers in B2B role.
- Demonstrable sales experience within Manufacturing, Electronics, Components or similar industries.
- Experience selling to design, engineering and manufacturing stakeholders, understanding applications and proposing suitable technical solutions.
- A valid driving licence is essential. You must be willing to travel extensively across the UK, with some international travel and overnight stays required.
