Financial Controller

Hybrid (2 days on-site)

The Business

A highly profitable manufacturing organisation. We need a detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee financial operations, reporting, and costing. This is a key operational role, ensuring the financial integrity of the business across multiple sites.

Main Duties

- Financial Reporting: Preparing and analysing accurate financial statements and management accounts in line with recognised standards.

- Operations & Costing: Overseeing daily financial operations (including AP/AR) and directly supporting the Operations team with costing projects.

- Commercial Analysis: Analysing financial data to identify operational trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings or revenue growth.

- Systems & Compliance: Maintaining financial systems, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, and liaising with external auditors.

- Team & Administration: Supervising the finance team, processing payroll, and managing the HR portal.

Profile

- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

- Hands on experience in Manufacturing/Engineering or from a top-tier accounting firm.

- Must hold a valid driving licence to facilitate travel between UK sites.
