Finance Business Partner
Newport
Up to £55,000 + Bens
This is a site finance lead position for a fast growing business. It is a "hands-on" commercial role that balances core financial controllership with high-level business partnering, reporting into the wider Group finance structure.
Core Responsibilities

Site Financial Leadership: Act as the autonomous "go-to" expert for the site, managing the full P&L, balance sheet, and year-end audit requirements.

Working Capital & Cash: Full ownership of the cash cycle, including invoicing, revenue recognition, debtor ageing/credit control, and weekly cash flow forecasting.

Management Reporting: Lead the month-end process, producing management accounts with detailed variance analysis and actionable recommendations.

Commercial Planning: Drive the budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles; lead monthly meetings to challenge assumptions and present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.

Compliance: Prepare quarterly VAT returns and ensure all statutory tax requirements are met.
Candidate Requirements

Qualifications: Fully qualified (Ideally ACA, Big 4)

Experience: Proven track record in a Finance Business Partner or hands-on Commercial Finance role.

Technical Skills: ERP proficiency is essential; advanced Excel and financial modelling skills for decision support.
