Senior DevOps Engineer

Remote

Up to £80,000 + Benefits

 

 

The Role

As the Senior DevOps Engineer (and DevOps SME within the business), you will be responsible for building and maintaining the automated pipelines (CI/CD) that move code safely to Production without issue.

 

Key Responsibilities

Build & Release: Designing reliable CI/CD pipelines with minimal manual steps (automated deployments, rollbacks, testing).

Cloud Architecture: Designing secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform.

Environment Management: Managing multiple environments (Test, Staging, Production) and ensuring smooth transition between them.

Source Control: Managing Git workflows, branching strategies, and resolving merge conflicts.

Quality Gatekeeping: Integrating automated testing and code quality checks directly into the deployment pipeline.

 

Tech Stack

Cloud: Azure

Infrastructure as Code: Terraform

CI/CD: Deep experience building automated pipelines, specifically using Azure DevOps.

Containerisation: Docker, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service).

Scripting: Strong skills in PowerShell (preferred), Bash, or Python.

Observability: Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana.

SaaS: Salesforce and/or Mulesoft DevOps experience would be a plus but is not essential.

 

*Please note, although this is a remote role, we still require all candidates to be UK-based, as the role will require occasional travel to our office in Cardiff. We are unable to offer VISA sponsorship for this role, all applicants must have full UK right to work.*
