Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer Manager

Location: Reading, Onsite

Salary: Up to £100k

Vargo is recruiting for a dynamic and fast-growing agri-tech business. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing innovative automated production systems.

This position is a hands-on blend of programming and team leadership, encompassing embedded software development across various modules, data integration with cloud platforms for storage, and AI model development.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience leading software engineering teams, including recruitment, mentoring, and performance/code reviews.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Numpy, Pandas, OpenCV, JavaScript, and HTML.
• Expertise in designing and implementing control mechanisms for automation.
• Knowledge of embedded microcontrollers/IDEs (e.g., Raspberry Pi, Okdo, Tinker Edge R).
• Familiarity with AWS cloud storage and data analytics.
• Experience in developing Android/iOS mobile applications.
• Collaboration with third-party remote software developers.
• Skills in designing and assembling electronic circuits, electrical panels, or PCBs.
