Job Title: Salesforce Administrator 

Location: Remote, occasionally travel to Cardiff

Salary: Up to £45k

 

Vargo is working with a dynamic financial services company looking to hire a Salesforce Administrator. This role will be crucial in supporting and optimising their Salesforce environment. Experience with FSC or Service Cloud is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Regularly maintain the system, perform backups, and monitor performance.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for any Salesforce-related issues.
  • Carry out system health checks, security reviews, and audits.
  • Oversee Salesforce release cycles to ensure seamless updates.
  • Train and support users, encouraging best practices and system adoption.
  • Manage data quality, ensuring compliance with retention policies.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation and comply with data protection regulations.

 

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator.
  • Strong skills in Salesforce configuration, workflows, and validation rules.
  • Familiar with best practices for data management, security, and system administration.
  • Experience managing system updates and release cycles.

 

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM201) preferred.
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are a plus.
