A high-profile organisation managing large scale infrastructure projects. We need a commercial accountant to act as a business partner to the wider business, driving strategic, value-adding financial insight.

The Role

• Business Partnering: Acting as the core interface between finance and operational budget holders, challenging non-finance stakeholders, and translating complex data to support strategic decision-making.

• Commercial Analysis: Interrogating management information, building performance dashboards, and identifying operational risks, opportunities, and cost-saving initiatives.

• Core Finance: Leading the preparation of robust financial plans, complex budgets, and rolling forecasts for assigned business areas.

The Profile

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).

• Demonstrable commercial acumen with a proven track record of business partnering or financial management within a large, complex organisation or large scale infrastructure projects.

• Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to challenge the status quo and drive process improvements.

• Advanced Excel capability and high-level proficiency with financial systems.
