Vargo is recruiting for a fast-growing fintech business specialising in pensions and investments.
This role will oversee and manage two Admin Team Leaders and their teams, as well as two analysts. The successful candidate will have industry knowledge, be a natural role model, and be an experienced leader capable of inspiring their teams to deliver outstanding service.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee operational reporting to The Pensions Regulator, HMRC, clients, and IFAs.
- Ensure accurate, timely delivery of workloads within deadlines and SLAs.
- Produce MI and statistics for senior management, driving continuous improvement.
- Coach, set objectives, and review performance to develop team skills and encourage ongoing learning.
- Foster a high-performance culture to achieve optimal results.
- Review processes to identify efficiencies and optimise resources.
- Implement policy changes in line with regulations and ensure smooth adoption.
- Collaborate across the business to enhance teamwork.
- Build strong relationships with IFAs and clients through regular engagement.
- Serve as the escalation point for internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge, Skills, and Personality:
- A background in pension administration management is essential, coupled with experience in dealing with external clients and working to SLAs.
- Strong people management experience is essential; exposure to managing multiple teams or business areas is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills across all business levels and with external clients.
Education, Qualifications, and Special Training:
- A qualification in pension administration is highly desirable.
