Job title: Internal Business Development Manager- Asset Finance
Location: London
Salary: up to £55k +bonus + travel allowance
Vargo is working with a growing asset finance business that’s looking for a hands-on Internal Business Development Manager to support their external sales team. This role will include, calling/relationship managing a portfolio of customers, selling to new contacts within the customer base and supporting the day-to-day asset finance operations.
You’ll be supporting the team with finance proposals, keeping things organised, dealing with clients and lenders, and making sure everything runs like clockwork. If you’re someone who likes improving processes and being part of something that’s still evolving, this could be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Track and report on deal activity, conversion rates, and financial trends
- Input accurate data into CRM systems to support forecasting and insights
- Keep the asset finance pipeline up to date and aligned with CRM records
- Support the sales team by identifying patterns and growth opportunities
- Manage client relationships, acting as the main contact throughout the finance process
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and lenders to gather documents and submit accurate proposals
- Structure finance deals appropriately, based on client needs and lender criteria
- Deliver excellent service to community-focused clients
- Help improve internal processes by contributing ideas and feedback
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the asset finance industry
- Experienced in handling and maintaining sales or finance pipelines
- Confident using CRM platforms and managing data systems
- Highly attentive to detail, with a strong focus on data accuracy and reliability
