Overall purpose of the job

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Full Stack .Net Developer to help further develop our Web to SQL applications - to produce high-performance solutions for internal and external use. This individual will work up and down the full stack, be capable of working with existing software as well as helping to design and implement advancements to our platform offerings.

The successful candidate will join a team of developers used to working across the stack and display a desire and willingness to help mentor the team in (and develop best practice in) marrying middle tier and server side applications to the front and back ends.

Additionally:

· Owning projects to ensure successfully delivery

· Assigning work to junior members of the team (Support tickets, BAU work and Maintenance)

· Assisting team with project issues

· Reporting on project deadlines and ensuring agreed deadlines are met

· Ensuring support tickets are done within agreed SLAs

· Ensuring BAU work is completed on time (statements, bonuses, interest etc..)

· Ensuring maintenance is completed (monthly updates, app updates, resolving technical debt etc…)

· Mentoring staff and developing their skillset.

· Documenting existing processes and systems. Proposing solutions for improvements.

· Reviewing support tickets and identifying either recurring issues or time consuming issues then proposing solutions to these.

· On call for support escalation one week in 4. Additional payments are made for this.

35 hours per week based on a flexible but hybrid location policy, Monday to Friday 9-5.

Technology skills and experience:

· Expert practitioner of ASP.NET and C# for web application development/maintenance

· Expert implementor of modern web based Authentication and Authorization techniques

· Understanding of modern design principals, patterns and their applicability

· Good understanding of SQL and/or other relational databases

Overall purpose of the job

We are looking for an outstanding Junior Finance Assistant to join our team here at Quai digital in Peterborough as part of the Finance team. This will be an entry level position with opportunity for advancement after gaining experience.

Quai digital undertakes administration of cash and securities relating to lifetime savings (mainly SIPPs and ISAs). The financial control team takes responsibility for the monitoring and reconciliation of all customer accounts, balances and transactions, reporting to corporate clients (investment advisors, asset managers and brokers) regarding processing issues, reconciliations and facilitating the regulated clients reporting to the FCA (under CASS rules).

Main Activities

DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

Managing the update of our documents on our server
Filing of Invoices, Bank Statements, Cash and Asset Reconciliations

OPERATIONAL CONTROL and PROCESSING

Daily Reconciliation of Cash (Internal & External reconciliations) and Portfolio (Securities).
Inputting of payments onto RBS, Barclays and Bottomline
Making payments to Asset Manager
Processing of cheques received
Uploading of files onto Bottomline (Mandate, Collection, BACS, Investor and Portfolio)
Uploading of files onto the SUN Ledger system
Maintain the day to day accounting records of ISA and SIPP holders
Working to strict deadlines on daily and monthly cycles. Flexibility to meet deadlines required

INCIDENTS & COMPLAINTS ANALYST

Overall purpose of the job:

Reporting into the Operations Support Manager, the Incidents and Complaints Analyst is responsible for monitoring, analysing, and investigating operational incidents and customer complaints. The role requires root cause identification, timely resolution, trend analysis, and continual improvement recommendation making. This must be whilst meeting regulatory requirements and upholding Consumer Duty standards to deliver good outcomes for pension scheme members and customers.

Main Activities & Responsibilities:

Investigate and analyse operational incidents and collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely corrective action and preventative measures are implemented to mitigate the risk of recurrence.
Produce incident trend analysis MI and commentary for Operational Managers and Senior Leadership Team.
Completion of price comparisons and any loss/gain analysis for customers that may have been financially disadvantaged by an incident.
Logging and acknowledging incoming customer complaints and maintaining the Complaints Register and dashboard.
Perform thorough investigations into complaints to understand the root cause and provide clear written responses to customers.
Liaise with operational teams to gather evidence to inform resolutions as well as identify systemic issues where trends emerge.
Ensure that complaints are managed and resolved within the agreed timeframes.
Apply Consumer Duty principles by focusing on good customer outcomes in all investigations and recommendations made to operational teams.
Cooperate with the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) when complaints have been escalated to collate all relevant information.
Bi-Annual collation the information for the Complaints Return for the Financial Conduct Authority.

Knowledge, Skills, and Personality:

Experience in pensions administration, financial services, or a regulatory environment.
Analytical mindset with a methodical approach to problem solving and investigation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in writing formal responses.
Previous experience of incident analysis and/or complaints handling.

Education, qualifications, and special training:

A qualification in pension administration is desirable but not essential as support can be offered with professional qualifications.

Location & Hours

This role can be based in Peterborough with potential regular travel to the Nottingham site when required.
